Replacing diesel heating systems is now a priority, especially for public and private buildings seeking to reduce costs, increase energy efficiency, and contribute to decarbonization. The Ribeirão Sports Pavilion in Vila Nova de Famalicão faced precisely this challenge: to modernize its domestic water heating system, which until then had been diesel-powered, and replace it with a more sustainable and efficient solution.

IONTECH presented the Vila Nova de Famalicão City Council with a more modern, efficient, and fully electric solution for the Ribeirão Sports Center: the IONTHERM 33 kW, supported by two 600-liter tanks. This system is part of a new generation of efficient heating systems, designed as an alternative to fossil fuel-based equipment.
IONTHERM uses high-efficiency electrical technology, ensuring direct conversion of energy into heat and precise temperature control. The result is a quiet, reliable, zero-emission system, ideal for large-volume, intensive-use spaces.
